Guy Murray was buried with full military honours in Ryton Cemetery. A firing party under the command of Sergeant Douglass, Northumberland Fusiliers, fired three volleys over the grave. The Last Post was sounded by Cpl Giles and Bugler Bosworth. Grave Reference E. U. 121
