Family Details:
Son of John and Elizabeth Jane Wheatley, of Greenside, Ryton on Tyne, Co. Durham. Husband of Alice Maud Wheatley, of Greenside, Ryton on Tyne, Co. Durham. On 16th October 1916, William's 10 year old brother, John, was killed in a road accident near Bewes Hill, Blaydon on Tyne, Co. Durham. William's 2 year old sister, Mary, died on 22nd October 1891. Elizabeth Jane Wheatley died on 8th October 1933, aged 57. John, her husband, of Croft Farm, Wetheral, died on 28th July 1934, aged 66.
