Son of Isaac and Ellen Jane Elliott, of Crawcrook, Ryton on Tyne, Co. Durham. Husband of Violet Elliott, of Ruislip, Middlesex. Brothers: James, Samuel and John. Sister: Lizzie. Sister in law: Mary.
Notes : Before the war Isaac had served nine years as a Reservist with the Coldstream Guards and three years as a Regular. Along with a brother, he was a playing member of Ryton Rugby Club. Samuel died in May 1946 whilst serving with the RAF, aged 32 years. James, serving with the Royal Artillery during World War 1, died at home in September 1918, as a result of wounds received in action. John served with the 50th Bn Machine Gun Corps, during World War 1.
