Family Details:
George's mother, Ellen McCauley, was a grocer in Ryton in 1891. A sister, Mary J Milburn, worked as a telegraph clerk, and a half brother, Henry L McCauley, also lived in the house, aged 4. The house was owned by George's grandmother, Mary Robson, who was 77 in 1891. By 1901 the family had moved to 24 Park Avenue, Cullercoats, Whitley Bay, Northumberland.
