Son of George Percival, of Faugh, Headsnook, Carlisle, Cumberland. Husband of Kate Percival, of 5 North View, West Ryton on Tyne, Co. Durham.
Notes : John's father was a farmer and John Junior seems to have followed in his fathers footsteps by working in agriculture. He was educated at Faugh Voluntary School. He joined the colours on 4th December 1914 and served with the British Expeditionary Force in France and Flanders from 29th September 1915.
