Son of John Dunn and the late Frances Elizabeth Dunn of 11 Holburn Terrace, Ryton on Tyne, Co. Durham.
Notes : Joseph emigrated to Canada, attesting at the Canadian Mounted Rifles Depot, Hamilton on 6th July 1917. He embarked onboard the SS Scandinavian from Halifax, Nova Scotia, 22nd October 1917. He disembarked at Liverpool, England, 1st November 1917. It seems that there were periods of Joseph being unwell on his arrival in France on 29th March 1918. Joseph had been reported as wounded and missing in action
