Brothers: Thomas, Matthew. Sister: Bernadette.
Notes :
A keen sportsman, Peter played football for Addison Colliery FC and Hexham Athletic FC.
His brother Thomas served with the Royal Army Medical Corps (Paratroopers) and had completed five years service when he was taken prisoner during the fighting at Arnhem, Holland, in 1944.
The other brother, Matthew, served with the Warwickshire Regiment in India.
Bernadette served as a Leading Aircraftswoman with the Women's Auxiliary Air Force.
