Notes : In January 1946, Thomas's mother was presented with the sum of six pounds and ten shillings from the proceeds of a dance that was held at The Greenside Miners Welfare Hall, as part of the Prisoner of War Fund. Sergeant T S Shotton and Fusiliers S Wilson and T Wilkinson were also presented with a donation.
