Son of Mary Buglass. Brothers; John and William. Sister; Catherine.
Notes : Jabez had enlisted in the Royal Naval Division on 21st October 1915. He would have done his training at Crystal Palace. He embarked on 16th February 1916 per HMT “Olympic” and arrived at Mudros on 24th February 1916. He was then posted to Anson Bn at Stavros, 25th February 1916 until the 13th November 1916. During action he received a gun shot wound to his left leg. He rejoined the Anson Bn on 1st December 1916. Following combat he died of wounds, (shell wound to his left thigh) in the 47th Casualty Clearing Station.
